Modern Slavery
As a digital agency working with public sector and commercial partners, we are committed to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking have no place in our operations or supply chain. This statement is made in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps we are taking to identify and mitigate risks.
While we operate in a low-risk sector, we recognise that risk may exist indirectly through suppliers providing services such as recruitment, IT hardware, or subcontracted labour. As part of our ISO 9001:2015 quality framework, we embed ethical procurement practices and conduct regular supplier reviews.
Timberyard has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and is fully committed to ensuring that neither occurs within our organisation or supply chain. We are dedicated to conducting all business operations to the highest ethical standards, with complete transparency in our efforts to prevent slavery and human trafficking in all its forms.
This policy applies to all employees at Timberyard and to all individuals working on our behalf in any capacity.
Supply Chain
Timberyard requires all business partners to uphold the same high ethical standards and to support our commitment to eradicating modern slavery.
We clearly communicate our expectations to all partners by ensuring that:
- They read our policy statement;
- They commit to our ethical values;
- They comply with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act.
We require all suppliers and contractors to notify us of any potential risks within their own supply chains.
We regularly review our operations and supplier relationships to identify and address any potential risks of modern slavery or human trafficking.
Employee Awareness, Training, and Compliance
Timberyard takes full responsibility for ensuring all employees are aware of, and committed to, ethical practices in line with the Modern Slavery Act.
All employees are required to read, understand, and accept this policy and to uphold our standards of workplace ethics, behaviour, and human rights.
Managers are responsible for ensuring their teams understand and comply with this policy and for providing training where needed.
Employees are expected to report any issues or suspicions of modern slavery in any area of our operations or supply chain to their line manager.
Monitoring and Effectiveness
We regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective in identifying and addressing potential risks.
We engage with new and existing business partners to identify risk areas and discuss improvements where failures are identified.
Failure to comply with this policy will result in the termination of the business relationship.
Any employee found to be in breach of this policy will face disciplinary action, which may include dismissal for gross misconduct. (edited)
