Getting to the point at Flight Club
For our inaugural partner gathering we headed to Flight Club Darts. Other than a disturbing lack of aim that got worse as the evening went on, it was a brilliant night.
It also reminded us why strong, committed partner relationships are the backbone of our business. Taking the time to connect, share time and experiences together, and build trust, helps us to show up fully for our clients and for each other.
Getting Lucky in Mayfair
We hosted a select group of brands at the cutting edge of digital commerce and transformation, and enjoyed dinner at Mayfair’s Lucky Cat. Great food, intriguing conversation, familiar friends, and new connections….what’s not to like!
The conversational ‘dish of the day’ was how AI is reshaping channel performance and impacting the funnel - from customers’ discovery of brands to decision-making and conversion.
(Our compliments to Mr Ramsey on the delicious cuisine.)
International Women’s Day
To mark this important event, Suzie joined other female founders and leaders at Rathbones to explore the theme of ‘give to gain’ at an event hosted by independent M&A dealmaking specialist Marktlink.
The discussion focused on how this mindset is vital for supporting, amplifying, and championing women and their successes, leading to more opportunities and encouraging more diverse voices. Far from a mere issue of equality, the opportunities this unlocks for growth and commercial success are emphatically proven - an issue very close to our hearts at Timberyard….
Along with an insightful exploration of the contrasting perceptions of ‘equality’ in the workplace across generations, some sobering statistics were presented, highlighting just how much progress is still to be made.
eCom Collab Club
The hot topic at March’s eCom Collab Club was managing and optimising AI across e-commerce, and deploying it thoughtfully and strategically. The consensus? Use it as a subtle background tool, elevating the customer experience.
Timberyard is leveraging AI both externally and internally - through innovative AI-powered products and services to bring client value and differentiation, and by harnessing the technology to move faster and work smarter, with strong controls to preserve performance, security, and quality.
By balancing innovation and responsibility, we can fully exploit AI’s capabilities without compromising our clients’ trust.
