But with the site running on an outdated version of Shopify and an old theme, every tweak had become a time consuming task. Most of the build was hard-coded, meaning even simple updates required digging into the code.
And for customers? The experience wasn’t much better.
Key moments to capture data were missed, journeys were far from frictionaless, and conversions lagged behind the required levels.

Shopify was retained as the ecommerce solution with a full rebuild and migration to Shopify 2.0 and new theme. The goal? Unlock the flexibility and efficiency of the latest platform while futureproofing the tech stack.
Working as a single development team, we delivered a ground-up transformation of both the UK and US stores. This included a reimagined customer experience, featuring a new onboarding flow and a recommendation engine designed to capture richer data, drive conversion, and move more customers from one-time purchases to monthly subscriptions.
The result is a platform built for scale — and one we’ve continued to optimise through a close, ongoing partnership with YuMOVE.
